The gingerbread house has arrived! Come by the community office to admire it in person. Raffle tickets are on sale from November 25th to December 12th. Tickets are $2.00 per entry and you can purchase at School Cash Online or bring cash to the Community Office. Good luck!
CPAC is excited to have the Purdy’s Chocolate Fundraiser back this year! Purchase all of your holiday treats and gifts from the beloved local chocolatier. Deadline for purchase is December 2nd with pickups happening on December 12th. Again, spread the word to friends, neighbors and family!
Our Second Street CPAC is hosting our final Apple Box Fundraiser with Sun-Oka Farms. For every box of apples purchased, up to $10 goes to the school. Every purchase brings us closer to our goal of raising $1500 selling apples! Everyone agrees they are the best apples available! Please share the link with friends and family quickly as the deadline to purchase is November 15th.

This Friday, September 20th, Second Street students and staff will come together once again to participate in our annual Terry Fox Run, and to continue to celebrate Terry’s inspiring legacy of hope, courage, and determination. With each step we take, we honour his dream of a world without cancer, showing that no challenge is too big when we work together as a community! Join us for our assembly at 1:20 and for the run that will start at 2:00!
Part of this even sees students and classes rising funds to support cancer research. Second Street is working toward a goal of raising $500 this year. Let’s see if we can meet, or beat that goal! Students from Division 10 will be will be coming around to classes every morning for the rest of the month of September. All students are encouraged to bring in a loonie or toonie to support this important cause, and help make the dream of a cancer free world come true!
