Second Street Community School is one of 20 runner-up schools in the 2016 Indigo Love of Reading Foundation’s Literacy Fund grant program. Indigo Love of Reading Foundation and First Book Canada have donated more than 1,500 new books to enhance our library collection, build classroom libraries, and support our school’s reading initiatives. These books were generously donated from Disney Worldwide Publishing, Marvel Press, Disney Press, Lucasfilm Press, and Hyperion Press.
