We are beginning to prepare our 53rd annual Second Street Seniors Tea and we need your help! We are looking for volunteers to take part leading up to and during the day of the event. See below for more information.
Event details:
The Second Street Seniors Tea is an annual tradition in the neighborhood to celebrate and honor our elder community. Students are encouraged to invite their senior neighbors, friends and family to enjoy tea and snacks. Entertainment is provided by both our students and seniors, ensuring a fun time for everyone!
Event takes place on Friday, May 9th from 1:00-3:00pm in the Second Street Gymnasium
*An emailed and printed invitation will be available for families after Spring Break*

Jobs we are looking for help with are…
- Set-up: 9:00 to 11:00 AM
- Provide baking: We’d love to showcase different ethnic foods!
- Clean-up: 2:45 to 3:45 PM
- Assist in the kitchen during the event: 1:00 to 3:00 PM
- Serving tea and snacks: 1:00 to 3:00 PM
- Shopping for the event: Purchasing supplies for tea, snacks, and decorations.
