Welcome to all our new and returning families! We are excited to begin another great school year together. Here is some information for our first week back:
New Kindergarten students: a gradual entry calendar was sent home and families should have also received the invitation to sign up to have a conversation with one of our Kindergarten teachers. If you did not receive any information, please call the office after 10:30 am on Tuesday September 5th.
Returning students grades 1-7:
- Tuesday Sept 5th – attend from 9:00-10:00 and return to last year’s classroom. Information will be provided on Tuesday about Wednesday-Friday. Most students will continue to return to their last year’s class for the remainder of the week, with a few exceptions, such as our new grade 1s.
New students grades 1-7:
- Tuesday Sept. 5th – attend from 9:00-10:00 – Please come to our library. Staff will welcome you there and families can go across the hall for coffee and conversation. On Wednesday morning, students return to the library and will be shown which classes they will join for the rest of the week.
We would like to invite family members to come up to the Community Room for coffee and to connect during this first hour on Tuesday. This is a welcoming space and we hope families will come and use it throughout the year to share in conversations and different activities.
We do not move into our official classes for the year until we receive District approval and the earliest this happens will be Monday Sept. 11th.
