On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 12th, all classes will be walking down to Cariboo Hill Secondary to “post” some pink sticky notes of love and appreciation!
April 12 is National Day of Pink. This is a day that celebrates diversity, acceptance and kindness to all people, no matter who they are, where they are from, what they believe and who they love. At Second Street, we embrace these ideas and we want to make sure that the Cariboo youth — our friends and neighbours, brothers and sisters, volunteers and mentors and future leaders – know they are appreciated, loved, respected and accepted.
