Term 1 report cards

Dear parents,

This year we have changed how we are communicating student learning. Although each student will continue to receive three report cards (one  in December, March, and June) these report cards no longer be printed and sent home. Instead, families will access the report cards  through the student portal on the MyEducation BC platform. Families with a child in high school will be familiar with accessing the family portal on the MyEducation BC platform, but Elementary report cars are accessed through the student portal which is slightly different.

On Wednesday, December 7 every student will bring home an index card with a label on it containing their Username, Temporary Password, and space for you to write your chosen password. Each student will have a unique account so families with more than one child will need to repeat this process for each.

Parents will use this information to log into the MyEducation platform.  Once they have done this, they will  be prompted to create their own password that they will use after that. There is an option to use your BC Services Card to login. Please do not use this option as it will not work for the student portal.

A guide to accessing the portal and other information has been sent to families via email..

MyEducation BC can be access using this link www.myeducation.gov.bc.ca/aspen/login.do

The link can also be found at the top of the Second Street website.

The report cards will be accessible on December 14th and will remain up through the school year.
